*This was in an exaggerated “so ugly” (think: yo mama) story told around a campfire, when a woman practiced kissing a cow so that she’d have enough gumption to kiss her future [ugly] husband. It was comedic relief.
Corenwald must be defended! But by whom? Will the factions fight amongst themselves before ever coming against the true enemies of the nation?
My children and I enjoyed this finale to a satisfying trilogy! Its allegorical elements were well designed, which led to some great conversations. The main character, Aidan (representing the biblical David), was an example of both how to serve well and how to lead well. And his friendship with the feechies is mighty special!
The plot’s intensity level is just right for a solid family read-aloud. Depending on your exact circumstances, the age is pretty flexible, but I’m officially putting a minimum of seven for a safe recommendation. I hope your family is able to enjoy these books!
