“Give me liberty, or give me death!” is one of the most well-known American phrases, is it not? Though this book is 50 years old, it is still being published for good reason.

Patrick Henry was never an excelling student, by any means. He never loved learning and always yearned to be outdoors, free and unrestricted. However, after several large failures in various endeavors, he one day discovered his gift of speaking.

Quickly, he became more and more well-known throughout the states as a vocal defender of America’s liberty. The book described his career and later years in a brief, yet readable way. Definitely add this to your USA history book stacks if you can!
