Being in so many books lately, I haven’t been able to read this aloud to my kids as I wished to! Fortunately, we found it on Hoopla and enjoyed it over lunches for quite a while!

If the old adage, “The book was better” means anything to you, I can’t exaggerate it enough. Disney, of course, romanticizes *everything* and their Pollyanna is not nearly as sweet as in the book. There’s even brief nudity (an older child’s bare bum)!

But this isn’t a review of the movie. 🙂 Just don’t judge the book by it! We loved Pollyanna. 🥰
