Book Thoughts: P is for Pterodactyl (Haldar, Carpenter)

  • super clever idea with super lame results
  • extremely agenda-pushing
  • feminism, witchcraft, and more (ex: “O is for Ouija”)
  • not recommended

Type: picture book
Ages: none
Authors: Raj Haldar, Chris Carpenter
Illustrator: Maria Tina Beddia

Having seen this on popular list for AGES, we finally checked it out. I’m thankful I pre-read this one and promptly returned it (after taking pictures for you 😉–see Instagram). Young kids (aka picture book age) don’t need to know about ouija boards, psychics and other evil things.
