  • a charming must-read

Author: Phyllis Krasilovsky
Illustrator: Barbara Cooney

I’m not sure why, but I LOVE this book. Its simplicity and old-fashioned household items are too charming. Perhaps it’s nostalgia since I read this when I was little and now read it to my littles, but if you’re looking for a clean read, add this to your list!
