If ever there was a book written for boys, Mr. Brinley here has done it. The club has seven members, all with different talents. When they combine those talents, clever ingenuity results! The boys are very formal in their meetings, with an official order of business, motions, etc., which only adds to the entertainment of the reader. Young readers are going to wish they had a club like this.

Each chapter has its own sort of adventure or tomfoolery. Sometimes they are pure pranks, sometimes they’re solving old mysteries, and in one case, they’re saving a life! I found myself grinning while reading it alone (pre-reading) and think you will, too. Enjoy!
