This is possibly my top “love-hate” book on our shelves. 😆 It is amazing how many details it has! But it’s also riddled with errors. In the end, we decided to leave it available to the kids, but only because we talk frequently about the Christian life (our chief end, what a biblical worldview looks like, etc.).

You’ll see in the photos [that I posted on Instagram] our long-time habit with masking tape. 😬 Since we started reading “Living Long Ago” with quite young ages, this became our way of marking books (not just this one) that have something wrong on that particular page. You can still read through the tape, but it reminds the child not to take everything as whole truth. It works for us anyway!! (I haven’t yet taped all the wrong pages in this book, fyi in case you zoom in.)

There are other thoughts, but that paints the picture, more or less! Overall, we wish Sonlight had chosen something better than this book, but it’s still okay to read with the above caveats. 💛
