Book Thoughts: Library Lion (Knudsen)

  • a helpful and kind lion soon becomes a regular sight at the library
  • he learns to follow rules, but is there ever a time when one needs to be broken?
  • calm and inviting illustrations

Type: picture book
Ages: 3-8
Author: Michelle Knudsen
Illustrator: Kevin Hawkes

This book was written charmingly well, and readers quickly feel connected to the lion. There is one grumpy library employee, but he eventually softens, which adds to the delightful satisfaction the end of the story brings!
