I always feel bad when I don’t love a book that apparently many people love. I’ve seen this one on many book lists, but when I saw Sonlight added it to their Preschool bundles, I thought I’d read it. Meh. Several of the Nana’s poetic comments would fly right over most preschoolers’ heads.

Sorry to add—the illustrations weren’t my favorite either. 🙈
