*I gave this four out of five stars only because of the language. The stereotypes didn’t bother me, but without even looking at other reviews, I’m sure it triggers some readers. There are terms such as “injun, red man, savage, etc.” but the overarching theme of the. book doesn’t diminish because of it. To me, it’s part of history, and they all end up friends anyway–overcoming their prejudices.
