The writer and artist did a good job working together. The illustrations reflect the words well! This definitely created smiles at our house.
I should note that, in the beginning, he does some complaining and has “oh poor me” thoughts. If your child is struggling in that area, maybe skip this one. However, it’s pretty lighthearted and overall a positive read.
A fictitious character that many parents tell their children is real is mentioned.
