  • several unique differences from the American/Disney Cinderella
  • convo: Allah*, Islam, lying, marrying for beauty only, magic
  • clean language

Ages: 4-8
Author: Rebecca Hickox
Illustrator: Will Hillenbrand

*It was a magic fish that said to Cinderella, “Allah says a kindness never goes unrewarded.” This is the only place he is mentioned.

This rendition of the famous princess story is overall a decent read, though it didn’t wow anyone in our family.
