Machowski certainly has a gift in explaining big concepts to children. We appreciate so many of his books! This particular one produced some really good conversations between my children and me.
Though the story is not directly addressing grief, the little boy and his grandma talk about Grandpa Joe who passed a few years earlier. It would be a meaningful book for children who have lost a loved one–particularly a Christian loved one.
Even adults could benefit from the sound teaching! I hope you’re all able to read it one day. 🙂
