We found this funny years ago the first time when we lived in another state, but reading it now after living in Arizona for 4 years, it’s even funnier. The poor New Yorker boy assumes hilarious things, such as how nobody plays baseball because they’re all too busy chasing buffaloes. Or how everyone eats chili and beans for every meal. He later meets a local boy who has all sorts of funny assumptions about New York!
Great for a child who’s about to move, but it’s funny for anyone.
