Ages: 4+
Author: Arnold Lobel

This is for adults just as much as for children! Some of the morals to the stories were very thought-provoking and could generate excellent conversations with your family. Here are a few favorites of mine:

“Without a doubt, there is such a thing as too much order.”

“Advice from friends is like the weather. Some of it is good; some of it is bad.”

“Knowledge will not always take the place of simple observation.”

“A first failure may prepare the way for later success.”

Amazing what a good author can pack into a short tale. Hope you enjoy it, too!
