Ages: 6-9
Author: Bryan Davis

If you have read the previous story (book 4), you know they named their new company “The Wizard of Dogs” as fun wordplay. They speak of Steve, the dad, as “the wizard” who helps dogs in need. There is no actual magic or even pretending that there is. There have been a number of literary references throughout this series, so it fits.

This last book, after the river rescue, is pretty calm as we see how the community rallies around the Barkley family and their new business. It is busy fun as loose ends are tied up and dreams begin coming true. In the end, they give God the glory for all of it!

I will bring this series together in one post and return here to link it. Happy reading!
