Not So Famous Dog Tales 02: Mission Impawssible (Davis) | keenlykept.com
  • Book 2 in the series brings the whole family to a lighthouse island, where they discover a big problem to be resolved
  • main animals involved: a dog, several cats, sharks, and a murder of crows
  • full of puns and exaggerated homeschool comedy
  • convo: mentions someone is close to death, implies a child doesn’t have a good living condition
  • language: stupid x2

Type: early chapter book (Bridge Book, Level 3)
Ages: 6-9
Author: Bryan Davis

Whether I’ve got the vibe down now or this book was written a little better than the first one is neither here nor there. It’s a good little story! The family loves being together and are always groaning at each other’s jokes. They work together with speed to resolve the issue at hand! (I don’t want to give spoilers if I don’t have to.)

So far, so good with this series! I’ll link to each review down below when I finish them all. Happy reading!
