The Rawlings family is back at it in this next installment of their adventures. The father has been hired for a 3D printing project to replicate dinosaur bones, which in and of itself is a unique element! His family is allowed to travel with him and stay in the loaned RV.
The boy-girl siblings and their best cousin-friend make some new friends…and new enemies. The intensity level is at that “just right” mark and, combined with the clean language, makes a great family read-aloud. As in the first two books, readers should expect lots of laughs and also some unrealistic animal encounters (I smile).
My children and I are listening through this whole series, so I can’t speak about the physical books. We wonder if there’s any fun back matter at the end of each book? Overall, minus the bit of unnecessary romance in the first book, this has been a pleasant series to journey through. I’ll keep reviewing them as we move forward!
