Most of us probably have memories–at least vague ones–of learning about this historic event in American history, but if you’re looking for a refresher to share with your children, this is a solid choice.

The general idea of taxes might be above the heads of some listeners/readers, but the story can still make an impression and provide good chats. That factor plus its length is what prompted the “age 6” minimum, but it would be fine for kids even younger to hear. They just might not be too interested.

Definitely include this in your American history studies if you can! Happy reading. 🙂
