We love this one! Most Americans are probably familiar with Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, but this book gives a lot more details of how it came into existence and other neat facts we didn’t know. For example, one of Sarg’s apprentices was Jim Henson, creator of the Muppets!
Juvenile biographies are, in many cases, the best type of biography to learn from. The authors succinctly summarize the best highlights and even give us visuals. 🙂 Your children are sure to love the exciting artwork–almost as if they were at the parade in person.
