How could I not love this book? Reading about someone who loves to read as much as you is quite satisfying.
The author did an excellent job at curating information and producing it all in a highly readable format. There were all sorts of tidbits I hadn’t heard before, and I appreciated that there were actual quotes from some of his family.
From the first page: “Tom gobbled books the way a starving man eats.” I get that!
