Though abridgments can often distort or even spoil beautiful full works of literature (and one could guarantee there will be negative reviews as there always are), I really did enjoy this one! It hit all the big points of the story and softened more intense scenes to be age-appropriate yet not incorrect. I also appreciated how Chou put the main focus on Aslan and didn’t get bogged down in trying to insert too many details.
A great, gentle and readable little book for your youngest loved ones. Definitely check it out, but also plan on reading the full, richer version when they’re old enough. 🙂
