This was based on a true story from the author’s childhood! The only part that I didn’t care for was when someone donated a nice house to be her library, and she just sighed because it wasn’t a brick building like she wanted. Hopefully this brief moment of discontentedness and being ungrateful flies over your children’s heads, because it’s otherwise a nice little story.
