Book Thoughts: See How It’s Made (Smith)

  • very interesting book covering a broad range of items and how they’re made
(from guitars to legos to sausages and more)
  • design, colors and layout were quite well-done and inviting
  • clean language
  • convo point: evolution (x2 brief mentions)

Type: non-fiction children’s book
Ages: 5-15
Authors: Penny Smith, Lorrie Mack

In total, there are 20 distinct items they go over in detail–each getting at least two page spreads, sometimes three. I even grew to like how there was no order within the topics, because then it was a fun surprise to see what we’d learn about next.

Overall, this is a commendable resource.
