The Littles are very clever in how they have built their secret home in the walls, with all sorts of odds & ends taken from the “big” people. They run into an issue with mice and cleverly figure their way out of it.

I haven’t read the rest of the series, but I think we’re going to check them out for one of our children. Hopefully they’re as good as this first one.
