The author has created two fictional children through whom he tells the story. Cousins Samuel and Molly show courage and quick thinking to save their fathers. The British soldiers want to arrest them.

It was really need to have little side bars on each page spread which give more information–particularly things that might interest young readers. A photo of a real dollhouse to an actual British “redcoat” uniform are examples.

A solid book.
