I haven’t read other reviews on this book yet, but, in reading it with older readers in mind, it was a good story. There’s no hiding the influence of Treasure Island, but it was set in the USA and ties in some real history (early 1700s).

There are a few conversations (between characters) with an openly Christian message which were all done well. We have the other three books of the series, so I’ll link to those reviews as I write them.

Happy reading!
