It’s a blustery, winter day for the Barkley family as they embark on another attempt to find the dad a new job. They’re in it together, because they like and want to live life together–functional families are such a gift.

His scheduled job shadowing quickly morphs into a crime-solving affair which involves multiple pets and employees of a nursing home.

By the way, if you’re new to this series, humans and dogs have been learning each other’s languages. Since this series installment is focused on a smart dog with a smart owner, we get a lot of delicious vocabulary–anything potentially difficult being creatively defined and understandable to young listeners/readers.

Great little series so far. I’ll link them all together down below when I finish!
