This is my first to read in the series (“Heroes of History for Young Readers”), so I can’t speak to it as a whole; however, this particular book was great! Rhymes aren’t just for preschoolers (and this is not a book for them)–I enjoyed being refreshed on some of Washington’s details in the form of poetry.
And the pictures were neat! Definitely a good addition to an American History bookshelf.
