Guys! Here is one of those shockingly rare Christmas picture books that you don’t have to “fix” with discussion. There are no wise men showing up by the newborn Jesus’ manger, there’s no [highly unlikely] illustration of Joseph and Mary alone on the road at nine months pregnant, etc. It’s so refreshing!

My kids will tell you one of my (or maybe THE) top favorite Bible stories is when the angels appeared to the shepherds. Do you know how big God feels when you’re outside in His beautiful nature? And then to have a host of angels sing this announcement? There are no words to describe what that must have been like.

And now I’ve written far more words than this whole picture book. Ha! It’s a recommendation, if you can’t tell. 😉 Glory to God!
