This is one of the best devotional books my family has ever used. Each entry was a gift. It’s engaging and encourages priceless discussions.

Kate was very careful never to put words in Jesus’ mouth which He did not say, and she weaves Scripture through all her writing so effortlessly that it’s clear her personal walk with Christ is strong.

As the title declares, each reaching focuses on a particular aspect of who Jesus is. Here are several to give you an idea:

– the Prince of Peace

– the Miracle Worker

– the Bread of Life

– the Good Shepherd

– the Suffering Servant

– the Last Adam

– the Bridegroom

Joe’s illustrations fit the topic perfectly–it’s amazing to me how he can alter his style for the content! What’s even more neat is how such a writer and such an artist are married. Ha! What a team.

All ages could benefit from this book. I wholeheartedly recommend it.
