The first time we read this book (I to my children), I was completely blown away. It is one of those picture books that takes residence in your memory for a long time. Both the charming word choices and the beautiful pictures invite readers into the scene, and their duet ends in deep satisfaction for all.
Getty’s note for families in the back is a must-read. I recommend working the mentioned Scripture passages into your week with re-reads of the book. Children (and, really, any listener) will see creation with new eyes. They will long to take part in the choir of praise!
